Director of Golf Operations (full -time, exempt position)

$65,000 to $75,000/year

The Wood Dale Park District is seeking a highly motivated and strong motivational leader to fill the position of Director of Golf Course Operations, directly responsible for managing Salt Creek Golf Club, an 18 Hole Executive Golf Course, and Club House with banquet services and a full service restaurant.

Accounting Coordinator (part-time, non-exempt position)

$20 - $28/hr  - IMRF eligible

The Wood Dale Park District is looking for a dynamic, detail-minded individual for the part-time position of Accounting Coordinator. This position offers a flexible work schedule of 24 to 28 hours per week, is eligible for the Park District’s retirement plan (IMRF) and has the potential to be considered for reclassification to a permanent, full-time position in the future. The Accounting Coordinator is an integral part of the Finance & Administration team and is directly responsible for the routine day-to-day and complex accounting and reporting functions.

Lifeguard (seasonal)

Swim Lesson Instructor (seasonal)

Summer Camp Counselors (seasonal)

Enthusiastic, creative, outgoing individuals needed to work full-day summer camps.  Must be 18 years of age and older.  35-40 hours per week (M-F).  Starting salary: $8.50/hr.  Click here to download job description.

Summer Park Laborers (seasonal)

The Seasonal Park Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of duties to maintain parks, facilities and equipment. Duties may include but are not limited to mowing, garbage removal, sports field preparation and special projects. Work Hours:  Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm; additional hours and days may be required.  $10.00/hr

Qualifications

 Must be able to operate riding mowers, blowers and trimmers.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Valid Divers License.
  • Minimum Age 18

Front Desk Staff (part-time)

Looking for outgoing, well-organized individuals to work the front desk at the Recreation Complex. Day and weekend availability.  $8.55 - $9.00hr

Looking for outgoing, enthusiastic individuals who have basic knowledge of fitness to work in the Fitness Studio. Many shifts are available during the week and weekends.  Starting salary is $8.55/hr

Bus Driver (part-time)

Drivers are needed to drive children on field trips year-round for the summer day camps, preschool, before and after school program, winter and spring break camps.  Additionally, drivers are needed to drive children to away swim meets during the summer for the Swim Team.  Hours vary based on location of trips.
