Recreation Supervisor (full-time)
$39,500 - $45,000

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Recreation and Park Administration or related field. Two or more years of full-time supervisory experience working in recreation programming preferred. Knowledge of early childhood and youth development. Individual must be flexible, enthusiastic, creative and a self-starter. Demonstrated passion for working with all age groups. Must be able to work well with others. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral and have the ability to multi-task. Candidate should possess strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills and good customer service.

DUTIES: Reports to the Director of Recreation, the Recreation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing preschool, early childhood, youth, dance, camps, before/after school program, some adult programs and some special events. Hire, train, schedule, evaluate and supervise a part-time coordinator and all part-time program staff and volunteers. Manage and develop budgets for programming responsibilities. Develop and promote programs for area of responsibility.

WORK HOURS: This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours of work per week, Must be flexible and available to work nights and weekends within job duties assigned.

Marketing Coordinator (full-time)
$39,500 - $45,000

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, Public Relations or closely related field. Work experience in marketing with a Park District, business or other organization. Individual must have strong computer skills in word processing, presentations, digital photography, desktop publishing and web maintenance with software knowledge in programs such as Microsoft Office, Photoshop and InDesign. Must have excellent oral and written skills, strong organizational and project management skills, ability to multi-task, problem solve, be able to work well with others and demonstrate good customer service. Be flexible, enthusiastic, creative and a self-starter.

DUTIES: Reports to the Director of Recreation, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for implementation of marketing, public relations, and communications strategies and activities for the agency. The Marketing Coordinator performs routine and special project work to promote the Park District programs and services while maintaining and enhancing the agency's image and brand. Support administrative staff as requested by preparing, proofing and disseminating materials and information as well as in coordinating efforts relating to marketing and public relations. Oversees and retains consultants and contractors for any Marketing or Public Relation matters.

WORK HOURS: This is a full-time, hourly position working a minimum of 37.50 hours per week.

Extended  School Leaders (part-time)
Staff is needed immediately to work in our Before and After School program, school days off and winter and spring break camps.  Must be flexible in hours and work Monday-Friday.

Bus Driver (part-time)

Drivers are needed to drive children on field trips year-round for the summer day camps, preschool, before and after school program, winter and spring break camps.  Additionally, drivers are needed to drive children to away swim meets during the summer for the Swim Team.  Hours vary based on location of trips.

Staff is always looking for new programs to offer.  If you have a special class that you would be interested in teaching, please fill out the job application and submit to the Recreation Complex.
