Preschool/Extended School Coordinator (part-time, non-exempt position)
$12 - $17.50/hr - IMRF eligible

The Preschool Coordinator/Extended School Coordinator is responsible for working with the Director of Recreation on planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of the preschool/extended school programs. The coordinator shall exercise immediate supervision over part-time employees of the preschool and extended school programs. The employee must function with a wide latitude of administrative and professional discretion under the supervision of the Director of Recreation. The coordinator is a seasonal and part time employee. Coordinator responsibilities run from August to May, with summer planning hours.   The individual must be flexible, enthusiastic, creative and a self-starter. Demonstrated passion for working with all age groups. Must be able to work well with others. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral and have the ability to multi-task. Candidate should possess strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills and good customer service.

Requirements: Completion of four-year college degree in Recreation Administration, Education, or related field with 1-3 years of experience working in a classroom/day care setting. A minimum of 1-3 years experience in working with grade school children. Must be certified or willing to attain certification in CPR and First Aid within 6 months of hire.

Work Hours:  Monday – Friday, hours vary based on workload and needs of the program.  General hours are 8:30am – 4:30pm and will include some evening hours to conduct monthly staff meetings.

Recreation Assistant (part-time)
$11 - $13/hr

The Recreation Assistant is responsible for assisting with the development, coordination, implementation, promotion and evaluation of senior programs and trips and special events. In addition, this individual may be asked to assist with the front desk, fitness studio and/or recreation programming as needed.

Looking for outgoing, well-organized individuals to work the front desk at the Recreation Complex. Day and weekend availability.  $8.55 - $9.00hr

Fitness Studio Attendant (part-time)

Looking for outgoing, enthusiastic individuals who have basic knowledge of fitness to work in the Fitness Studio. Many shifts are available during the week and weekends.  Starting salary is $8.55/hr

Bus Driver (part-time)

Drivers are needed to drive children on field trips year-round for the summer day camps, preschool, before and after school program, winter and spring break camps.  Additionally, drivers are needed to drive children to away swim meets during the summer for the Swim Team.  Hours vary based on location of trips.
