Cabin Nature Center
As you may have noticed, the demolition of the Cabin Nature Center at 111 S. Wood Dale Road is now complete. The plan for White Oaks Park - made with public input - includes a new parking area and construction of a new Activity and Nature Building. Partnerships and the use of multiple funding sources make this new construction an affordable project for Wood Dale residents without increasing taxes.
The White Oaks Nature Trail is available for you to enjoy the natural surroundings as you walk, jog, or bike on this interpretive loop trail. You can experience the flora and fauna of two ecosystems. Open daily from dawn to dusk.
Please be sure to stop by the Dog Park in White Oaks Park. This park is open daily from sunrise to sunset and allows interactive play while off-leash. White Oaks Park is the only park in the Wood Dale Park District that allows dogs.
